Indian Pueblo Cultural Center–
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Center, and in
celebration a new permanent museum exhibit opened in early April. The exhibit
represents all 19 Pueblo Indian tribes of Mew Mexico, and visitors are given
hands-on opportunities to engage in and experience a variety of Pueblo Indian
traditions.

Outside Bike & Brew Festival–Santa
Fe is the place to be on May 20th – May 22nd if you are a
beer-drinking bicyclist! Billed as “one of
the most innovative and engaging outdoor recreations festivals in the country,”
the Bike & Brew festival
offers craft beer alongside three days of all things bicycle, to include riding
clinics, movies, music, and riding tours and events.

Truth Or Consequences Hot Springs Festival–If you’re looking for a festival that centers around a
healthy lifestyle, alternative medicine and sustainable living, look no further
than the Hot Springs Festival running May 13th-May 15th
in downtown Truth or Consequences. Set up in street fair style, this festival
features a variety of vendors, live music, speakers and workshops.

Taos Lilac Festival–For
an abundance of both sweet scents and family fun, then head up to Taos from May
20th-May 27th for a festival filled with contests, craft
fairs, New Mexico hand-crafted beers and wines, food, and even a carousel!

ABQ Bio Park – Located
in downtown Albuquerque is an environmental museum that encompasses four
separate facilities – an aquarium, a zoo, a botanic garden and a beach. With a
narrow gauge railroad that connects it all together, ABQ Bio Park is a perfect
setting for an exciting and enjoyable outing.

Albuquerque
Wine Festival–New Mexico wine, food,
music and art all come together the last weekend in May at the Balloon Fiesta
Park to create the Albuquerque Wine Festival. Award winning wineries sell their
wares by the glass or bottle, food and art vendors offer culinary and cultural
delights, and local bands complete the party atmosphere.
